Friday — Crystal Rachele Pakutz, 23, of Butler was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

She was at the police station, and when she was told by police they were applying for a search warrant for her vehicle, she began acting in a disorderly manner. An officer attempted to get her to leave, but she physically resisted, and while she was told she was under arrest, she resisted arrest.

12:49 a.m. March 26 — Shawn Ferrer, 40, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped for running a stop sign on Pillow Street. While at Butler Memorial Hospital, Ferrer twice refused to have his blood drawn.

3:11 p.m. Sunday — A 12-year-old Evans City boy attempted to harm a 31-year-old female of Evans City with a knife at a house on Connoquenessing Drive in Connoquenessing Township. The victim tackled the accused and wrestled the knife from his hands, suffering minor injuries. The accused was arrested for aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment in juvenile court.

The report did not list the names of the people involved.

12:18 a.m. Saturday — Sarah Newton, 19, of Portersville was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a small amount of marijuana and in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was stopped for traffic violations on Route 19 in Lancaster Township. Criminal charges are pending her blood test results.

5:44 p.m., Saturday — A 38-year-old male showed signs of impairment during a traffic stop on Route 28 North about one mile north of exit 18 in South Buffalo Township. He had suspected heroin and related paraphernalia. Charges are pending lab results. The man was not identified.

2:08 p.m. May 10 — A vehicle with a 27-year-old white male, a 22-year-old white male, and a 26-year-old white female, all of New Kensington, was stopped for traffic violations at the intersection of Route 356 and Harbison Road in Buffalo Township.

Police discovered that the driver showed signs of impairment and the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia. Charges are pending lab results.

The news release did not say who the driver was.

3:19 p.m. Jan. 9 — A 64-year-old white male of Ford City, attempted to buy a firearm at Czar Firearms in Manor Township, Armstrong County. A background check indicated the suspect was ineligible to buy the weapon. The man was not identified.

Wednesday — Daniel P. Beebe, 27, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI from a traffic stop May 12.

Wednesday — Brandon M. Wehner, 21, of Cranberry Township was charged with DUI from a traffic stop May 11. He was also cited for speeding.

Tuesday — Darian N. Kopps, 21, of Valencia was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance from a traffic stop April 18. Kopps also is charged with speeding in a school zone, failure to use safety belt for both the driver and a front seat occupant and no rear lights, all summary offenses.

[naviga:h3]State Police, New Castle[/naviga:h3]

Thursday — Joseph Daniel Germanoski, 28, of Cranberry Township was charged with harassment and stalking after sending numerous lewd, vulgar and demeaning texts to a 26-year-old female of New Castle over several months. He was arraigned on Thursday and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
