2:54 p.m. Thursday — Rosemary Walchesky, 69, of Butler was cited for retail theft. She allegedly took $102 worth of merchandise from Giant Eagle.

8 a.m. Friday — Qian Yu, 49, of Portersville was driving southbound on 432 W. Park Road in Worth Township when she lost control of her vehicle. The car fishtailed and left the eastbound shoulder of the road, going up onto the embankment and rolling softly onto its passenger side, also damaging a mailbox. Yu was not injured in the crash, and the car was towed. She was cited for failing to drive on a road laned for traffic.

7:01 p.m. Thursday — Christopher Price of Chicora was driving a construction truck east on Evans City Road when it collided with a deer. Price suffered injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital, while the truck was towed from the scene.

6:40 p.m., Sunday — A 17-year-old female from Pittsburgh was cited with harassment of a 16-year-old girl from Erie at the Western PA Child Care Facility. The victim was being restrained on the ground by the facility’s staff for acting out, and while she was restrained, the 17-year-old allegedly kicked her in the face multiple times. She was also restrained, and no injuries were reported.

2 p.m., April 14 — Ryan McConnel, 19, of Butler, was cited for scattering rubbish just east of West Sunbury Road in Clay Township.

11:08 a.m. Thursday — Richard Palmer, 82, of Grove City, was pulled over for a traffic violation and was charged with driving under the influence in Findley Township.

5:46 p.m. Wednesday — Kaylee Boyer, 25, of Harrisville, was charged with retail theft of merchandise from the County Market in Pine Grove Plaza in Pine Township. Police said Boyer also was in possession of a small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

5:46 a.m. Tuesday — An unknown person broke into Sharon Auto Wrecking in East Lackawannock Township and stole four catalytic converters. State police are investigating the burglary.

9:46 a.m., April 12 — Hugh Kunselman, 34, of Emlenton was charged with driving under the influence at West Butler Street and South Shenango Street in Mercer. He was initially pulled over for an inspection sticker violation.

April 2 — Christopher Basham of Grove City was charged with felony theft. He allegedly stole a gun from the residence of Alyssa Schrubb, located on Basham Lane in Pine Township. Basham was placed in the Mercer County jail on $25,000 bail.
