Dolores Kretzer

Dolores M. Kretzer, 73, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 17, 1942, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George W. White and Gertrude (Rettinger) White.

She was the owner of Dee's Hair Loft for 37 years.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, the Saxonburg Woman's Club and was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. Dolores enjoyed playing cards, going to the cottage in Franklin, cross stitching, watching HGTV and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dolores was an exceptional caregiver.

Surviving are her sons, Mark (Cheryl) Kretzer of Saxonburg and Matthew (Heather) Kretzer of Butler; her daughter, Melissa (Bob) Wolf of Butler; nine grandchildren, Greg, Ashtin, Hayden, Anna, Jesse, Casey, Robert, Landon and Collin; her siblings, George (Lois) White Sr. of Butler, Carol (the late Don) Staiger of Mount Pleasant, Richard (Kathy) White of Richland and Audrey (Jack) Wagner of Hampton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Maura Ann Kretzer.

KRETZER — Friends of Dolores M. Kretzer, who died Thursday, July 30, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. A blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James F. Murphy officiating.
