ADAMS TWP — Mars senior shortstop Ty Reginelli will continue his academic and baseball career at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.

Wofford is a Division I program and a member of the Southern Conference. The Terriers are 27-12 so far this season and have only four seniors on their roster.

Mars sophomore claims archery titleHARRISBURG — Mars sophomore Claire Staresinic took first place in the Female Cadet Recurve Bow competition recently at the Pennsylvania State Archery Association Indoor Championship in Harrisburg.She also claimed second place at the U.S. National Indoor and 2015 Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD National Indoor Championships last month in Harrisonburg, Va.Staresinic is tied for 10th in her division in the JOAD national rankings.

HARRISBURG — William Hartle of the Butler County Bowling Association posted a handicapped score of 709 in the senior handicapped division, good enough for second after the first weekend of the Pennsylvania State Bowling Association Tournament.Hartle’s 589 series is third in the senior scratch division. BCBA bowler Jake Atwell is seventh with a 560 series.
