Butler Twp. Police1:48 p.m. Thursday — Jerediah Owens-Vickers, 22, of Lyndora was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened a woman on Bessemer Avenue. Witnesses told police that Owens-Vickers held a brick over his head and made a gesture to smash it through the woman’s windshield.Thursday — A car driven by a 17-year-old Renfrew girl struck the back of a vehicle driven by Keith Karns, 57, of Evans City on North Eberhart Road at the rear entrance of Moraine Pointe Plaza.Police said Karns was stopped for traffic when his vehicle was hit. No one was injured. No charges were listed on the police report.Wednesday — Samantha Harold, 24, of Butler was cited for driving with a suspended license following a minor traffic accident on Pierce Avenue. Harold’s vehicle slid into a ditch after she swerved to miss a deer.3:30 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Joseph Snyder, 88, of Butler crashed into the concrete median and curb on Hospital Way.Police said Snyder lost control of his vehicle after turning from East Jefferson Street. His vehicle had disabling damage from hitting the curb.10:17 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Rachel O’Neill, 18, of Butler crashed on Delwood Road and rolled onto its roof after O’Neill swerved to miss a deer.Police said the vehicle hit an embankment and rolled over, coming to a rest in the middle of the road.O’Neill suffered minor injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.

State Police, Butler12:26 a.m. Saturday — Mark Myers, 55, of Chicora was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop on Route 422 near the Route 68 off-ramp in Summit Township.4:02 a.m. March 21 — Police said Brent E. Henry, 42, of Butler left a 4-year-old child home alone in a home on Queen Junction Road in Clay Township while he allegedly attempted to break into a nearby residence.Henry allegedly entered the garage portion of 188 Queen Junction Road and without authorization unlocked the kitchen door of the home. Henry went into the home and was confronted by the homeowner, Dennis W. Dunkle. Henry then fled back through the garage and returned to the child, police said.He was charged with criminal trespass and child endangerment.

State Police, MercerWednesday — Nathan Mier of Springfield Township, Mercer County, reported someone stole a Yamaha YX250 dirt bike from his home on Millburn Road.Monday — James Patton, 20, of New Castle was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly assaulting a 21-year-old New Castle man in the parking lot of the Grove City Premium Outlets.

State Police, Kittanning2 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole a license plate off a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 724-543-2011.
