5:11 p.m. Wednesday — A three-car accident occurred on North Main Street near its intersection with West New Castle Street.Police said Timothy J. Claypoole, 37, of Lyndora failed to stop his car for traffic and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Melissa N. Fullen, 31, of Pittsburgh. The impact forced Fullen's vehicle into the back of a car driven by Christopher A. Flick, 49, of Kittanning.Claypoole was cited with a traffic violation.

Wednesday — Kara A. Kendziorski, 37, of Slippery Rock reported someone stole the license plate off her vehicle while it was parked in a lot along Bovard Lane in Slippery Rock Township. Anyone with information is asked call 724-284-8100.Sunday — William A. Hipple, 59, of Chicora reported unknown suspects stole a riding lawn mower from the yard of his 100-block Railroad Street home sometime between Sept. 13 and Sunday. The value of the mower is $500. Anyone with information is asked to call 724-284-8100.8:55 a.m. Saturday — Two people were injured following a motorcycle crash along Kittanning Pike in Parker Township.Police said Bryan S. Conner, 50, of Karns City was driving north on Kittanning Pike when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and laid the bike on its side.Both Conner and his passenger, Marlene E. Kepple, 49, of Butler, were treated for unknown injuries.Conner was cited for a traffic lane violation.

7:35 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Toni D. Hostutler, 31, of Grove City collided with a vehicle driven by Susan B. Guiler, 45, of Mercer as Hostutler was backing out of her driveway on West Main Street. Guiler's vehicle was towed from the scene. Hostutler was cited for a traffic violation.State Police, Mercer4 p.m. Sunday — Christopher L. Leppert, 22, of Grove City lost control of his car while driving on George Junior Road and crashed into a ditch. The crashed caused Leppert's car to roll onto its driver's side. Police said Leppert was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for a lane violation.3:36 p.m. Friday — A three-car accident occurred along Route 208 in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police said Isabella C. Johnson, 19, of Grove City failed to stop for traffic and struck the back of a car driven by Kristin R. Barber, 23, of Grove City.The collision forced Barber's car into the back of a car driven by Raymond G. Reeher, 63, of Portersville, who was waiting to make a left turn.Johnson was cited for following too closely.

4 p.m. Wednesday — Calvin Sanders, 36, of Detroit is facing drug charges after the Butler County Drug Task Force found him in possession of 1.8 grams of unpackaged heroin at a home in the 500-block West Cunningham Street.The heroin seized would equate to 500 to 600 stamp bags with a street value of more than $5,000.Sanders was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was placed in the Butler County Prison. Bail was set at $50,000.The Drug Task Force was assisted by Butler County Adult Probation and city police.
