8:09 p.m. Monday — Robert C. Peters 58, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle collided with another vehicle on North Main Street. Peters' blood-alcohol level was 0.246 percent, or more than three times the .08 percent legal limit for alcohol under state law, according to a police report.Police said Peters also was cited for careless driving. Korry J. Weaver, 18, of Summit Township was the other driver.
3:20 p.m. Saturday — Randall L. Fair, 49, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Whitestown Road. Police said the arrest came after police were called to a Whitestown Road home where Fair had gone to allegedly fight another man he threatened with a baseball bat.Fair, in addition to DUI, is charged with harassment and public drunkenness.3:35 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Michael Fornwalt, 23, of Watsontown, Northumberland County, crashed into a hillside and rolled onto its roof on the Route 422 on-ramp at Route 356. Police said Fornwalt was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Jan. 31 — Joshua Timberlake, 21, of Butler is accused of taking a jar full of coins from a home and an iPod Nano from a car on Villa Drive. Timberlake is charged with theft, receiving stolen property and theft from a vehicle.
1:15 p.m. Friday — Steven A. Johnson, 22, of Grove City was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a court hearing. He was arraigned on the warrant and placed in Mercer County Jail.
10:53 p.m. Sunday — James L. Dunmire, 51, of Leechburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Freeport Road in South Buffalo Township.
