6:05 p.m. Sunday — Wyatt Blair McCauley, 38, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole $262 worth of food, clothing and automotive items from the Kmart off Hansen Avenue. He is accused of pushing a shopping cart "heaping with merchandise" out of the store without paying.3 p.m. Saturday — Brian Nicholas Barish, 31, of Butler was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Allegheny County sheriff's office after police had an unspecified encounter with him on North Main Street.Saturday — Tina Aspelin of Butler reported the theft of her daughter's 5-speed Pacific Windstorm from the driveway of her residence at 320 Negley Ave. between 9 a.m. and 2:28 p.m. The pink, purple and black mountain bike is worth $45.11:13 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Sarah Womack, 32, of Butler and a car driven by Shane McCabe, 21, of Summit Township collided at the intersection of West Jefferson and North Chestnut streets. Womack was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.25 percent on a Breathalyzer. A person is considered drunk under state law with a blood-alcohol reading of 0.8 percent. A witness stated Womack ran a flashing red light leading to the crash.

2:30 p.m. Friday — Jason Wade, 25, of Emlenton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a call about a vehicle parked in a traffic lane on El Dorado Road in Parker Township. Kayla Wade, 25, also of Emlenton, and William Dunkerly, age unavailable, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, also were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.9:30 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Daniel Wojno, 18, of Butler was turning from Route 138 onto Thompsontown Road in Clay Township when it spun, hit an embankment and overturned. Wojno was taken by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. His passengers were not injured. The West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Company also assisted at the scene. Wojno was cited for not driving at a safe speed and operating a vehicle with unsafe tires.Friday — Jerad Soose, 24, of Butler was arrested for simple assault and harassment following a domestic dispute that occurred overnight at 254 Baumgart Lane in Oakland Township. He was jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 cash or surety bond.

March 7 — Richard Minteer, 58, of Slippery Rock Township reported the theft of a 350-gallon oil tank from his property at 390 Rosepoint Road between 4 p.m. Feb. 27 and 4:15 p.m. March 7.
