Sunday — Tina Davies, 24, of Butler is accused of taking a wallet from a purse at the Butler Township Park building on Duffy Road. The wallet contained $40 and credit cards. Davies is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.5:01 p.m. Saturday — Mary L. Rudolph, 39, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her vehicle struck a garage on Chesapeake Street. The vehicle also sheared off a gas meter, which ignited in flames.The fire burned for between 40 and 60 minutes until a gas company crew was able to shut off the gas. The Lyndora Volunteer and Butler fire departments, as well as Butler police, assisted.Rudolph apparently was not injured. The concrete block garage had minor damage.Oct. 26 — Police filed felony and other charges against Jamie L. John, 30, of Butler, who is accused of using her ex-husband's bank debit card to make five unauthorized transactions totaling $549.01.The defendant allegedly used Dennis John's card without his permission to buy pizza and to acquire $520 via Western Union.

Saturday — Police filed disorderly conduct charges against a 13-year-old, who is accused of using gasoline to light wood chips on fire at the Union Street playground Oct. 22.State Police, Butler10:50 a.m. Tuesday — A triaxle truck driven by Andrew T. Rager, 23, of New Castle and a car driven by Kristin K. Grossman, 21, of Slippery Rock collided on Interstate 79 near West Park Road in Worth Township. Grossman suffered a minor injury. Rager was cited for an unspecified traffic violation.6:56 a.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Wayne R. Graham, 31, of Chicora and a car driven by Rachel A. Monk, 29, of Butler collided on Route 68 in Donegal Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Graham was cited for careless driving.10:14 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by John E. Foster, 39, of Slippery Rock crashed into a ditch on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Foster was cited for careless driving.Sunday — Carlton D. Shepard, 35, of Hampstead, N.C., is accused of violating a protection from abuse order after allegedly e-mailing a 20-year-old Cabot woman.

11 p.m. Sunday — Harvey Sherman Bellas III, no age given, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed and flipped onto its side on Route 268 in East Franklin Township.Sunday — A car driven by Peter Dukovich, 53, of Gibsonia struck a deer on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.

6:20 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Steven S. Rood, 23, of Seneca, Venango County, hit a deer on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.5:07 a.m. Saturday — A van driven by William G. Alfonso, 34, of Louisville, Ky., hit a deer on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.Thursday — Unspecified electronic items were stolen between 8:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in a burglary at a home on Stoneboro Road in Wolf Creek Township.1 p.m. Oct. 28 — A car driven by Cecil W. Vaughn, 19, of Grove City struck a utility pole along Irishtown Road about one-half miles south of Cranberry Road in Pine Township. Vaughn was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

11:45 a.m. Tuesday — Police arrested a trio of suspected burglars on charges they stole $10,000 in items from a Frew Mill Road home in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.The suspects made off with jewelry, a flat-screen television, three DVD players and other electronic equipment. A witness spotted the burglars' getaway car, which had an Ohio license plate, and notified authorities.Southwest Regional and Hermitage police stopped the car on Route 18 in Hermitage, Mercer County.Arrested and arraigned for burglary, conspiracy, theft and criminal mischief were John Thomas, 48 of Youngstown, Ohio; Michael Lee Delph Jr., 27, of Ellwood City; and Richard James Holland Jr., 23, of New Castle.The defendants, following arraignment, were placed in the Lawrence County Jail on $25,000 bail each.Authorities recovered nearly all of the items taken in the burglary.
