Strayer offers classes at learning center
MARSHALL TWP — Strayer University is opening a campus at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Woods.
Its first classes will be this spring quarter, starting April 3.
Strayer is for working adults who are unable to attend school full time, but who need a college degree to advance their careers.
The university expects to employ about five full-time instructors as well as adjunct professors initially.
In operation for 114 years, Strayer provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration, accounting, information technology, education and public administration.
It has more than 27,000 students on 39 campuses in nine states in the eastern United States, as well as worldwide via the Internet. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
The flagship school is in Washington, D.C.
