Tyler Dean struck out 14 and scattered five hits for Mars in an 8-1 baseball win over Highlands Tuesday.

The Planets (9-8, 6-5) scored four runs in the third inning to break the game open.

D.J. Delucia led a 15-hit attack with a double, three singles and two RBI. Blake Friday had three singles.

Karns City 7, Keystone 5 — Brad Francis homered and doubled for the Gremlins. Derek Sadowski got the save for winning pitcher Ethan Williams.
