Catholic school readies Purse Bash
The Butler Catholic School’s Purse Bash will be April 18 through 24.
This event will be the first “in-person” fundraiser by Butler Catholic School, 515 E. Locust St., this year, although modified to follow safety and health guidelines associated with the COVID pandemic.
The Small Games of Chance rules prevent the school from accepting credit cards for raffles and thus precludes the school from staging a virtual raffle.
Community members are encouraged to buy an admissions ticket for purse bash, which will gain them entry to the weeklong event. Each day from April 18 to 24, the school will have hours that the school gym will be open — ticketholders are permitted to come in and buy their raffle tickets in person for the 100 Purses Raffle and other side raffles.
Tickets will go on sale March 19, and will be available through school families, at the school office, and online through the school website, www.butlercatholic.org.
