City to begin paving streets Aug. 31
The City of Butler will mill and pave eight streets and the farmers market parking lot starting Aug. 31.
Streets impacted include:
• South Sixth Avenue between Pillow Street and Hansen Avenue
• Pillow Street between Jefferson Street and Third Avenue
• West Brady Street between Mercer and Broad streets
• Broad Street between Brady and Penn streets
• North Chestnut Street between Pearl and New Castle streets
• North Cedar Street between Fulton and Penn streets
• Ridge Avenue between Sixth and 13th avenues
• South Main Street between Patterson and Muntz avenues
The farmers market lot will also be paved during the work.
For paving on West Brady Street, the intersection with Broad Street will close. For paving on North Chestnut Street, Brady and Penn streets will remain open.
