Lyndsey and Jason Smith

Lyndsey Black and Jason Smith, both of Butler, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 9 at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. James Salberg officiated. A reception followed at Tanglewood Senior Center in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Marguerite Black of Butler.

The bridegroom's parents are Vern Smith, Debbie Smith and Butch Hutcheson, all of Butler.

Serving the bride as matron of honor was Erann Heltzell of Butler. Bridesmaids were Natalie Clauser and Tori Bayer, both of Butler. Kylie Kirk of Butler was junior bridesmaid. Gabby Fennell of Butler was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Michael Walters of Butler. Ushers were Josh Black and Shawn Smith, both of Butler. Brian Fennell, also of Butler, was junior groomsman.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and attended the Butler County Vocational Technical School and Butler County Community College. She is employed at Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and also attended the Butler County Vo-Tech.

He is employed by STAT Medevac in Oakland.

After a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Butler.
