Rickerd, Acre

Sheri and Stephen Acre

Saxonburg residents Sheri Rickerd and Stephen Acre were united in marriage at 3 p.m. May 19 at Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. The Rev. McCrumb officiated. A reception followed at the Saxonburg Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and JoAnn Rickerd of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Wesley and Lisa Acre of Saxonburg.

The maid of honor was Megan Rickerd of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Becky Ross and Christina Rickerd, both of Saxonburg, and Chelsea Martsolf of Cabot. Taylor Boscia and Mariah Boscia, both of Boyers, were the flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man was Todd Martsolf of Cabot. Ushers included Richard Rickerd and Greg Acre, both of Saxonburg, and Cody Martsolf of Cabot. The ring bearer was Ricky Keck Jr. of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Knoch High School. She is employed in the office of Drs. Benko and McGrogan in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Knoch High School. He works for Penn United Technology in Saxonburg.

The couple is making their home in Saxonburg.
