Dane Hutchison, the son of Michael and Beth Hutchinson of Harrisville, has been accepted to the People to People World Leadership Forum.

An eighth grade student in the Moniteau School District, he will travel to Washington, D.C. from March 21 to 27 to study leadership and visit several national landmarks.

Erin Diurba of Mars, a graduate student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, was one of eight students nationwide to receive a scholarship for a weeklong nature photography program held during the North American Nature Photography Association's Annual Summit held in January.

Eleni Champagne, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Champagne of Butler, has been named to the Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society at John Carroll University.

She is currently a junior majoring in business.

Stephanie Cicero, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cicero of Butler, recently received first place during the annual oratorical contest hosted by American Legion Post 117.

Cicero is a ninth grade student at Butler Intermediate High School.

Aysa Bachman, daughter of Roger Bachman of Saxonburg and Kathy Hines of Butler, has been awarded the Maree McKay/Esther Smiley Academic Alumni Scholarship at Slippery Rock University.

A junior majoring in psychology, she plans to pursue a degree in law.
