Angela Garris, daughter of Cyndi Switzer of Petrolia, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for the fall 2005 term.A 2001 graduate of Karns City High School, she served as a volunteer EMT for the Petrolia Ambulance Service.Garris plans to pursue a degree in nursing.

Michael Krysinski, son of Dale and Susan Krysinski of Zelienople, has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference, a leadership development program for outstanding high school students.
