Cadet Jay Berger, son of Jerry Berger of Cabot and Cathy Reese of Butler, has earned the superintendent's award for achievement for the spring semester at the U.S. Military Academy.A 2003 graduate of Knoch High School, he is currently studying aeronautical engineering. Upon graduation, he will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army.---

Sixteen students at Butler Senior High School have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board for achievement on the Advanced Placement Program Exams held in May.<b>Jonathan Kaltenbach</b> qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award.Eight students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award.
