[naviga:h3]Movies & Munch program planned[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — The series “Movies, Mumble & Munch” will kick off at noon Jan. 12 in the Cranberry Public Library’s Franklin Station Room, 2525 Rochester Road.

The first film is “Life Is Beautiful” — a 1997 Italian comedy-drama starring and directed by Roberto Benigni. Facilitator Amy Richart will lead a discussion following the movie.

The series continues Feb. 9 with the 2017 film “The Breadwinner,” with a facilitated discussion to follow.

Popcorn will be provided. Advance registration is required online at CranberryLibrary.org/CADN.

The event is sponsored by the Cranberry Diversity Network, with support from Cranberry Township.

[naviga:h3]Mars Library sets January events[/naviga:h3]

MARS — The Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave., has the following programs scheduled in January:

Noon, Jan. 19, “Educational Bird Presentation” — This is a free, very interactive learning program for people of all ages. Meet talking, singing and even dancing parrots. Sign up at the library or call 724-625-9048 to register.

6:30 p.m. Jan. 22, “Happy Home = Happy You” — Learn techniques in clutter management and removal to help create a healthier home and healthier you. This is a free program presented by professional organizer Sandra Lane. Registration is required. Sign up at the library or call 724-625-9048 to register.

7 p.m. Jan. 24, “Ferments Foods and their Health Benefits” — There are plenty of benefits to be gained from eating fermented foods on a regular basis. This is a free program, with sample tasting, presented by Jenneta Mammedova of Prescription Foods. Registration is required. Sign up at the library or call 724-625-9048 to register.
