SRU art show features 16 SV students
JACKSON TWP — A juried art show at Slippery Rock University’s 2018 Regional High School Art Exhibition accepted 16 Seneca Valley students.
A reception will be held at the art show’s closing from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 15. Students will be presented with awards at that time.
Student work on display includes seniors Amelia Reese in the categories of printmaking and photography, Evelyn Graham, painting, Jessie Glatz, mixed media/ceramics, Kerry Whittle, painting, Sonia Fernandes, ceramics, and Alexis Gorman, ceramics; juniors are Max Carpenter, drawing/mixed media, Kelsey Gianfrancesco, mixed media, Paige Biordi, drawing/digital art, Emma Perdue, drawing/digital art, Kate Scanlan, drawing, Lindsey Edwards, drawing, Ella Reynolds, painting, and Allison Jaecke, drawing; and sophomores are Ashleigh Patterson, drawing, and Anna Sikora, painting.
Students are under the direction of high school art teachers Jason Woolslare, Jason Shorr and Megan Bonistailli.
The artwork will be on display at the Martha Gault Art Gallery until Nov. 15.
