Drivers in Clinton crash ID'd

State police have identified the drivers in a head-on collision last week in Clinton Township that injured both as well as a young boy riding in one of the vehicles.

Marriah P. Monteleone, 28, of Saxonburg, was taken by ambulance to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh with suspected minor injuries following the Nov. 18 crash.

One of Monteleone's passengers, a 7-year-old boy, was flown by LifeFlight medical helicopter to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh with unknown injuries. Her other passenger, a 1-year-old boy, was not injured.

The relationship between Monteleone and the children, both of Freeport, was not immediately available.

The other driver, Anthony J. Huerbin, 53, of Evans City, was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with unknown injuries.

The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. when Monteleone's Mazda 3 crossed the solid, double yellow lines on Saxonburg Road near Deer Creek Road into the opposing lane, striking Huerbin's Chevrolet Colorado pickup.

Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts. The younger boy was secured in a child safety seat, and the older boy was in a booster seat.

Both vehicles had to be towed, and the wreck closed a portion of the road for a little over an hour. The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company along with Saxonburg EMS and West Deer EMS assisted at the scene.

Police said their crash investigation is continuing.
