SAXONBURG — The semi-annual used book sale will be May 17 to 19 at the South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., in the parking lot and inside the library.

The hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. May 17 during Saxonburg's Mingle on Main event and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18 and 19 during Saxonburg's May Market.

MARS — “Lyme Disease: Do I Have It? How Do I Get Rid of It? I Was Treated and I'm Still Sick” will be the focus of a seminar at 10 a.m. May 12 at the Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave.The presenter will be Shannon Smith, who is a chiropractor and board-certified clinical nutritionist.To register, call 724-625-9048.Notices of local upcoming news should be received by the Community Department one week in advance of the event.
