WINFIELD TWP — State police are investigating a four-vehicle crash on North Pike Road that restricted traffic for about an hour Friday morning.

Authorities report that a dark Kia Sorento entered the intersection of North Pike Road and Winfield Road around 6:45 a.m. A truck struck one side of the SUV, pushing its other side into two cars that were waiting at the red light.

Both sides of the Sorento were heavily damaged.

Police said there were minor injuries, if any, and no one was taken to the hospital.

Traffic at the intersection was restricted for about an hour, and police were aided by firefighters from the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department.
