HARMONY — Historic Harmony will have its WeihnachtsMarkt or German Christmas Market from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Harmony Fire District, 543 Main St.

There will be entertainment, horse-drawn rides and 50 specialty vendors and jury-selected crafters.

Visitors can sample regionally produced wine and whiskey and watch volunteer spinners, quilters and weavers at work.

Tickets provide all-day admission to the event.

'GROVE CITY — The Grove City College Singers will present “Songs from Written Word” at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Arnold Recital Hall of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.The fall concert will feature selections based on poetic works, including Eleanor Daley's “The Lake Isle of Innisfree,” Eric Whitacre's “The Seal Lullaby” and Andrea Ramsey's “Heaven Unfolding.”The concert is free and open to the public.

LYNDORA — The Purses and Pistols ladies day out will take place Sunday at the Butler Vagabonds Hall, 138 Whitestown Road.Doors open at 1 p.m. and the event starts at 2 p.m.There will be food and drink available, vendors and prizes.Buy tickets at EDCO Park, the Butler Vagabonds or from members of the EDCO Park Authority or the Evans City Lions Club.
