BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:

Charles R. Allen waived to court charges of driving under the influence, improperly backing up a vehicle and hit-and-run, filed Sept. 25 by township police.

Eric Dickerson, 52, of Grove City waived to court nine counts of failing to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements, filed Feb. 25 by state police.

Adrianna M. Ewing, 35, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI, child endangerment, reckless endangerment and not using turn signals, filed Feb. 19 by state police.

Brandy L. Lane, 26, of Sarver waived to court charges of theft, conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property, filed Feb. 10 by township police.

Travis C. McCandless, 21, of Evans City waived to court three counts of illegal use of solvents and a charge of illegal possession of solvents and noxious substances, filed in two cases Jan. 24 and Dec. 18 by township police.

Steven D. Saeler, 36, of Butler waived to court a charge of theft, filed March 18 by township police.

Michael J. Wagoner, 47, of Butler was held for court on charges of indecent assault and harassment, filed Jan. 7 by township police.

Brandon S. Ward-Smith, 25, of Lyndora waived to court charges of theft, conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property, filed Feb. 10 by township police.

Steven C. A. Vlassich, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness, filed March 23 by township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Garrett S. Barnes, 27, of Portersville waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed March 17.Marietta A. Bindernagel, 47, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 21,Tyler A. Dotts, 20, of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, waived to court charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft from a vehicle and criminal mischief, filed Oct. 28.Joshua A. Greenawalt, 26, of Shippenville, Clarion County, waived to court charges of theft, trespass and receiving stolen property, filed Sept. 10.David W. Haught Jr., 22, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without valid inspection and driving with an altered license plate, filed Feb. 24.Steven R. Riggle, 53, of Butler waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed July 15.James E. Segura, 39, of Fenelton waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed March 4.Theodore E. Treiber, 41, of Grove City was held for court on charges of illegally trying to buy a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities, filed March 18.Daniel J. Varljen, 45, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Feb. 3.
