The Butler County Symphony Association will have its annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler County Symphony office, 259 S. Main St.
The meeting is open to Butler County Symphony Association members. All 2018-19 season ticket holders who made a contribution of $10 or more above the season ticket price are considered a member of the Butler County Symphony Association.
The annual meeting agenda will include a recap of the 2018-19 fiscal year and election of board members and officers for the 2019-20 fiscal year.

Chris Register, a cycling journalist whose travels brought him to Butler in August 2015, returns to the city next week.Register, who released his first book “Conversations with US — Great Lakes States,” is on a two-week book tour which will bring him to the Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., at noon June 13.He will give a brief presentation of his book project and a reading from the chapter most relevant to the area, and then have a question-and-answer session.
MARS — Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, will have a strawberry festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.There will be food and desserts (fresh strawberries, cake and ice cream) available for purchase. Takeout is available.
The New Beginnings Free Methodist Church, 416 Center Ave., will have a free clothing giveaway in the basement of the church from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Come to the back of the church.For more information, call Sally Perkins at 724-290-2384.
