Having fun with mask-making

I have enjoyed reading your articles “Wear Your Mask.”

I, too, was uncomfortable at the start of wearing a mask, but decided to try to maintain my sense of humor through this difficult time.

So I dove into my boxes of material remnants and made masks to match some clothing and tote bags that I have made over the years.

Hoping to go to the fair and farm show, I made masks with sheep/cow prints, butterfly and flower prints and flag prints. I love music, so I made masks with several different music-motif prints to wear to church.

Now with Christmas and Valentine’s Day, I have made masks with red-and-white flower and heart prints.

My masks are all made of mostly cotton-poly blend material, so they are comfortable and I can breathe easily.

So, folks, make your own fashion statement and conversation piece and make it fun.

And wear a mask.
