BC3 conducting quality control certificate program
Butler County Community College is starting a non-credit quality control inspector certificate program designed to teach students to conduct inspections in a variety of industries.
The 18-hour program will be held on BC3’s main campus in Butler Township Thursday nights between Sept. 27 and Nov. 29. Students will learn quality system requirements, how to perform inspections with tools and instruments, and how to write an inspection report, said Tom Paserba, vice president of International Quality Consultants in Butler, who created the curriculum.
The program costs $359 and $100 for a training book. Participants can enroll by visiting bc3.edu/certificates or by contacting Kelly McKissick, BC3 coordinator of professional education and certificate programs, at 724-287-8711, Ext. 8171 or by emailing kellymckissick@bc3.edu.
