Charges filed against man chased by police

A Saturday arrest turned into a footrace through the city with county sheriff's deputies.

“I wanted you all to shoot me. Why wouldn't you shoot me,” said a quote in court documents attributed to Bradley S. Cramer, 32, of Butler, the alleged escapee.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office filed charges against Cramer on Tuesday, including three felonies, two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and one count of escape. He is also charged with misdemeanors of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

Following his arraignment by District Judge Kevin O'Donnell, Cramer was placed in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bond.
