Christ Community U.M.Scott Grinder, a former major league baseball umpire will address the Contemporary service at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township. Grinder created the Christian Sports International organization.In observance of the Lenten season, the church has created a prayer wall in the sanctuary. The church will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sundays. The community is invited to write their prayer requests on small slips of paper and slip them into the cracks between the rocks on the prayer wall.
Community AllianceCharles Clevenger, who holds a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati, will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Center Township. Covenant Presbyterian ChurchMembers of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E.
