Peter S. "Pete" Rippee, 70, of Mars died Saturday morning at his home.

Born in Clinton, Allegheny County, April 11, 1936, he was the son of Stephanie Kowalik Rippee of Rochester, formerly of Clinton and Sewickley, and the late Peter Rippee.

He was the retired owner of Suburban Insulation in Mars.

Mr. Rippee was a member of the Cranberry Elks and Beaver Valley Country Club. He was an avid golfer, bowler and gambler.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Dean A. Rippee of Mars, Randy C. Rippee of Medina, Ohio, and Peter Scott Rippee of West View; and five grandchildren.

A sister, Evelyn Moore of Beaver County, and his former wife, Louise Barrackman Rippee, also survive.

<B>RIPEE </B>— Friends of Peter S. "Pete" Rippee, who died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
