Aaron Dunmyre

Aaron Dunmyre, son of Bruce and Kathleen Dunmyre of Buffalo Township, has been accepted to Gannon University for the fall, 2006 term.Upon acceptance, Dunmyre was also awarded the Gannon Memorial Scholarship, the Gannon University Grant, the Gannon Leadership Scholarship and the Gannon University School of Business Grant.A recent graduate of Freeport High School, he was active in the Future Business Leaders; the Freeport Concert, County and Chamber choruses; Freeport High School musicals, varsity soccer and varsity track.Outside of school, he served as a CCDkindergarten aide and altar server at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot. He also volunteered at Rosebrook Assisted Living Home, St. Joseph Church Summer Bible School, Relay for Life and the Armstrong County Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program.The recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Young Citizen award, he performed in the Kiwanis Kapers Variety Benefit Shows.Dunmyre plans to major in accounting.———

He also volunteered at Rosebrook Assisted Living Home, St. Joseph Church Summer Bible School and Relay for Life.The recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Young Citizen award, he performed in the Kiwanis Kapers Variety Benefit Shows and participates in the Butler County Strings Symphonette and the Kellie Lynne Country Band.Dunmyre plans to major in biology and pre-medicine.———<B>Melanie Lutz</B>, daughter of Larry and Judy Lutz of Sarver, has been accepted to Elon University.A recent graduate of Freeport High School, she was a member of the National Honor Society, cross country team, track and field team and co-captain of the cheerleading squad.She was named the Valley News Dispatch Girl's Cross-Country Runner of the year and was selected as a Butler County Cross Country All-Star.She received the Butler Road Race Scholarship, a Distinguished Athlete Award from the United States Marine Corps and the Pittsburgh Downtown YMCA Scholar-Athlete award.She plans to major in elementary education.———<B>Brian Lutz</B>, son of Larry and Judy Lutz of Sarver, has been accepted to the Elon University School of Law's inaugural class.He is a 1999 graduate of Freeport High School and a 2003 graduate of Lafayette College.While at the college, he was a member of the football team and majored in business and economics.———<B>Cadet Joseph Marshall</B> has been named to the dean's list at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.A 2005 graduate of Moniteau High School, he is the son of Frank and Sharon Marshall of Boyers.
