BUTLER TWP — Super Sprouts Preschool located in Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, is accepting applications for Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and afternoon classes for 4- and 5-year-olds and Tuesday and Thursday classes for 3- and 4-year-olds for fall.

The Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave., has the following events:

- “Conquer the Paper Clutter,” 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 12, with certified professional organizer Sandra Lane sharing practical tips to manage mail, edit, organize and archive your paper file. This is a free event.

- “Steam Saturdays: Volcanoes,” 10:30 a.m. March 16. Children in kindergarten through fourth grade can learn the science behind why some mountains explode, and build a volcano. Registration is required.

- Spring Book Sale — 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 22, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 23.

- “How to Communicate More Effectively with Your Animals,” 7 to 8 p.m. March 28. This is a free program presented by animal communicator Courtney Moffatt. Registration is required.

HARMONY — The annual Harmoniefest dinner meeting starts at 6 p.m. March 9 with a wine and cheese reception at Stewart Hall, 218 Mercer St.

A buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by acknowledgment of this year’s Heritage Award winners and speaker Dan Simkins discussing life for a World War I doughboy.
