Kamerer

Susan Kamerer, daughter of James and Barbara Kamerer of Butler, recently completed an internship with the Islington Law Centre in London, where she worked dealing with immigration issues.Asenior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in European History, she received a Chancellor's Study Abroad Scholarship for use during the internship.Kamerer is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School.———

The recently-created II-VI Incorporated Foundation recently presented its first scholarships.Local recipients included <B>Ryan Brolley </B>of Butler, a student at Westminster College; <B>Ryan Stephan </B>of Valencia, a student at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College; and Grove City College students <B>Shane Mills </B>of Cabot and <B>Wesley Marks </B>and <B>Douglas Lock, </B>both of Butler.———

<B>Amanda Byrnes</B>, a student at Mercyhurst College, has been inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, a national freshman honor society.She is a 2006 Seneca Valley High School graduate and is majoring in both elementary and early childhood education.Byrnes is the daughter of Rich and Barb Byrnes of Cranberry Township.———

<B>Cadet Joseph Marshall</B>, son of Frank and Sharon Marshall of Boyers, has been named to the dean's list at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.Marshall is a 2005 graduate of Moniteau High School.———

<B>Erin Flynn, </B>daughter of Daniel and Phyllis Flynn of Adams Township, has been accepted to the University of Cincinnati for the fall 2007 term.Arecent graduate of Mars High School, she was a four-year member of the varsity tennis team and was a member of the National Honor Society, Art Club, French Club, Class Council and Musical Stage Crew. She was named her class salutatorian.
