Chris Blakely of Butler, a student at York College of Pennsylvania, received the Dean's Academic Scholarship during the Freshman Scholarship Recognition Ceremony held Oct. 6.Blakely, a graduate of Butler High School, is majoring in mass communication. He is the son of William and Dianne Blakely.

———<B>Mikey Woitas</B>, son of Terry and Debbie Woitas of Freeport, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where he has begun studies in pre-education.Agraduate of Freeport High School, he was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletics and all-section soccer and was captain of the soccer team.
