Kaitlyn Angeletti, daughter of Ken and Kelly Angeletti of Gibsonia, has been accepted to Gannon University for the fall 2008 semester.A senior at Mars High School, she is active in REACH, the Interact club, class council, Key Club and Varsity Club. Eric Rajchel recently performed in a production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the college's Robert S. Carey Performing Arts Center.The son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rajchel of Butler, he is a psychology education major.———

Abigail Schmidt of Mars was recently inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society at Duquesne University.A graduate of Butler High School, she is a senior nursing major at Duquesne.Schmidt is the daughter of Bill and Kathy Schmidt.———

Kevin Ference, son of Dean and Mary Ference of Cranberry Township, has been awarded the Gabe Hartl Scholarship from the Air Traffic Control Association. This is the second year he has received this award.A sophomore at Purdue University, he is on the dean's list, and is pursuing a degree in aviation management. He has his private pilot's license and is also pursuing his instrument rating through Lafayette Aviation at Purdue.A 2006 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he is also a member of Purdue's All American Marching Band, concert band and the pep band for women's basketball.Notices of student awards, scholarships and other honors are printed each Sunday in the Butler Eagle.
