Bello

Margaret Mary "Mickey" Bello, 81, formerly of South Drive, died Monday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born July 25, 1925, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Camillus McMahon and Catherine Burke McMahon Walker.

She was a homemaker, and in her younger years, she had been a window decorator at the G.C. Murphy store on Main Street.

Mrs. Bello loved cooking, baking and preparing food for her family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo and was a former duckpin bowler at the Knights of Columbus in Butler.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Butler Elks Auxiliary and the Butler Moose Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Samuel M. (Marcia) Bello Jr. of Findlay, Ohio, and George (Elizabeth) Bello of Olean, N.Y.; a daughter, Catherine Swift and her husband, James Swift, of Butler; five grandchildren, Joseph N. (Ginger) Bello of Findlay, Samantha Swift and Mark A. (Christine) Swift, both of Butler, Stephanie Swift of Pittsburgh and Angelina Bello of Olean; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph N. Bello Jr. of Findlay and Elizabeth Swift of Butler.

She also is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Vero of Butler; numerous loving nieces and nephews, and her Concordia family.

Her husband, Samuel M. "Sam" Bello Sr., whom she married April 2, 1944, died Feb. 9, 2005. She also was preceded by a brother, Thomas McMahon.

<B>Bello </B>— Friends of Margaret Mary "Mickey" Bello, who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Dolan officiating.
