Jessica Hickman, a Westminster College junior international business major, earned second place in the 2008 David W. Edward Entrepreneurship Scholarship competition. Her project was a plan for a hostel and restaurant in Emlenton along the Allegheny River Rails to Trails bike trail. Hickman is a daughter of Dennis and Jane Hickman of Emlenton and a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School.—-

Jessica Hodge, the daughter of Jeffrey and Georgie Hodge of Grove City, was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi international education honorary April 8. She is a sophomore at Grove City College.—-

Michael Sybert, son of Donna and Steve Sybert of Middlesex Township, was recently accepted at Penn State Unversity, main campus. The Mars High School senior plans to study biology and physics.
