Angela Higgins of Adams Township will be awarded student honoree for outstanding students at the annual honors convocation Friday at the University of Pittsburgh.

A 2007 graduate of Mars High School, she is a student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing.

James Reich of Butler was accepted for admission to Saint Vincent College for the fall 2010 semester.He is the son of James and Lynda Reich and expects to graduate from Knoch High School in June. At Knoch, he is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Spanish club and chemistry club. Reich also serves as vice president of Academic Challenge and is a letterman on the cross-country team. He plans to major in biochemistry at Saint Vincent College.
