Lisa Kaylor

Lisa Kaylor of Chicora earned an Outstanding Presentation award at the Mathematical Association of America’s MathFest Aug. 4 to 6 at the Lexington Convention Center in Kentucky.Kaylor earned the award for “Straightline Hanoi,” a variation of the original Tower of Hanoi puzzle.She is a junior mathematics major at Westminster College.Kaylor is a graduate of Karns City High School and the daughter of Karen Kaylor of Chicora and the late Terry Kaylor.———

Kaitlin Hayes of Gibsonia is studying off-campus for the fall 2011 semester.She is studying with the Sweet Briar College’s Junior Year Program in France.Hayes is a member of the class of 2013 at Denison University.
