Michelle Slater

Michelle Slater, a Portersville Christian School senior has been named as a finalist in the National Merit Scholar competition.Michelle is one of 15,000 students nationwide who will now have the opportunity to be selected to receive one of 8,400 Merit Scholarship awards.The Merit Scholarship is based on the student’s academic performance and record, as well as their composite scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test.Michelle is the daughter of Kevin and Anita Slater of Adams Township.———

Kyle Perschke of Butler is a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, the national leadership and honors organization at the Ohio University.Perschke is the son of Sharon and Dr. Tim Perschke of Butler.
