Amy Wilson

Amy Wilson of Center Township has been named a recipient of the 26th Indiana (Pa.) University Foundation Doctoral Fellowship.

The announcement was made Sept. 7 by Timothy Mack, dean of IUP's School of Graduate Studies and Research.

The fellowship award is a $1,000 monetary award for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Wilson is pursuing a Ph.D. in administration and leadership studies for the nonprofit and public sectors at IUP's Indiana campus.

She earned a master's in leadership and business ethics from Duquesne University in 2010 and a master's in professional writing from Slippery Rock University in 2007.

Wilson is employed by the County of Butler as Confidential Administrative Assistant for Butler County Commissioner Dale Pinkerton, a position she has held since 2008.

Timothy Double of East Brady has been accepted to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.Double is the son of Philip and Christina Double of East Brady.He is a junior at Penn State University, majoring in aerospace engineering.———Glenn Brennen of Butler, is attending Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J.———Matthew So of Mars is a 2013 National Merit Scholarship semifinalist.So is senior at Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh.
