STUDENT DIRECTORY
Seven area students were recently awarded up to $10,000 each in scholarships from the II-VI Foundation to pursue a postsecondary degree in the areas of engineering, mathematics or science for the 2012-13 school year.
Rachel Reid of Saxonburg is a freshman studying biomedical engineering/chemical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
Rachel Neff of Butler is a freshman at Penn State University studying chemical engineering.
The following five of students are repeat recipients:
Brandon Saber of Saxonburg is a sophomore at Westminster College studying physics/engineering.
Brian Tackett of Saxonburg is a senior in the chemical engineering program at the University of Pittsburgh.
Gavin Lachesky of Butler is a sophomore at Purdue University studying aerospace engineering.
Paul Kletzli of Butler is a junior in the mechanical engineering program at York College of Pennsylvania.
Peter Schramm of Butler is a junior studying mechanical engineering at The Catholic University of America.
In addition to these awards, 49 other students from Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oregon, South Carolina and Virginia received scholarships. In all, the foundation awarded $504,900 in scholarships.

Natalie Hritz of Seven Fields is a member of marching band, concert band, Ashland University Student Dietetic Association and Habitat for Humanity.
Hritz is a junior at Ashland University in Ohio and is majoring in dietetics.
She serves as a resident assistant in Clark Hall, where she is also the Clark small group co-leader. Hritz also serves as the Historian for Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity.
She is a 2010 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and the daughter of Paul and Susan Hritz.

Alexandra Restelli of Cranberry Township is a member of women’s club volleyball at Ashland University.
She is the daughter of Mary Restelli of Cranberry Township and a 2012 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

Elizabeth Papantonio of Zelienople is a member of the National Society for Minorities in Hospitality at Ashland University.
Papantonio is majoring in hospitality management.
She is the daughter of Tony Papantonio and Karen Haluck and is a 2010 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

Lindsay Klaum of Cranberry Township and Morgan McCrea of Fenelton have been accepted to Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina.

Tyler Devine of Grove City has been accepted to Ferrum College in Virginia.
