Samuel Dowdy of Sarver is a member of the Black Students Union at Ashland University.Dowdy is majoring in integrated social studies.He is the son of Jonathan and Kathleen Dowdy of Sarver and is a 2009 graduate of Central High School.Dowdy serves as the co-chairman of public relations for the black student union.
