Westminster College student Gregory Clark participated in the 73rd annual William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition on Dec. 1.

Clark, a junior mathematics major, is the son of Jeffrey and Shari Clark of Cranberry Township and a graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

Antonio Muia of Aliquippa has been named the recipient of the James Regal Aviation Scholarship.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded in memory of James Regal, a Slippery Rock High School, Community College of Beaver County and Slippery Rock University graduate, who was killed in a 2005 airplane crash.

Muia is a student at the Community College of Beaver County.

Jordan McCauley of Slippery Rock has been admitted to Concordia University, St. Paul, for the fall 2013 semester.

Jordan is a student at Slippery Rock High School and was awarded the Presidents Scholarship.

Sarah Scott of Butler was awarded a Presidential Scholarship by Gettysburg College.
