Five first-graders at Holy Sepulcher Catholic School were named finalists in the Keystone chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s 2012 Veterans Day poster contest.
Brad Mockenhaupt won the poster contest in the first to second grade category. In winning this national honor, Brad received a $100 educational gift certificate and a plaque from the school acknowledging the achievement.
The other finalists were Benjamin Johnson, Melanie Kratz, Patrick Miller and Isabela Montes.
Robert Morris, a representative of the Keystone chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, presented the awards.
