Crystal Chilcott, a 2011 graduate of Butler High School, was named to the President’s List at University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.

She also received the Helen McLoraine Figure Skating Scholarship honoring her academic and skating achievements. She earned the Miss America Academic Award Scholarship and Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award at the 2014 Miss Colorado pageant.

Chilcott is studying English literature abroad at Queen Mary, University of London.

BRADFORD — Four local students who enrolled for the first time at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford this year received Panther Scholarships:

Sarah Dailey of Butler is a health and physical education student who graduated from Mars High School.

John Hines of Renfrew is an engineering student who graduated from Knoch High School.

Hunter Kline of Portersville is a biology student who graduated from Lincoln High School.

Justin Grooms of Butler is a computer information systems and technology student who graduated from Butler High School.

Panther merit scholarships are awarded based on SAT and ACT scores and high school grades.
