In other action:

Butler elementary wrestler Levi Donnel placed first in the 8-under, 55-pound division of the Canon McMillan Open Tournament. Vance Jackson was third in the 12-under, 65-pound division.

Cooper Baxter placed third in the 10-under, 85-pound division of the Indiana Battle for the Belt.

Elementary Basketball

First Baptist Christian 27, New Castle 13 — Judah Roth paced the victory with 15 points and 12 steals.

Ben Drake had eight points and seven steals, Kevin Fitzgerald 13 rebounds and Casey Miller added nine rebounds.

Junior High Basketball

Butler’s eighth-grade White team defeated Fox Chapel, 41-24, as Conner Ollio scored 17 points, Jacob Keene six and Noah Beveridge five.

Butler (12-1) travels to Seneca Valley today.
