The Butler Junior High Gold football team beat North Hills 30-0 last Wednesday at Ross Elementary.

Butler went ahead on a blocked punt by Taite Dusheck that was recovered by Shelton Miller for a touchdown.

Connor Bachman added a touchdown on a 37-yard run, Kyler Callihan scored on a 57-yard run and Duscheck caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Marcella.

Evan Livermore and Callihan added two-point conversions. Trevor Moore, John Herold and Jordan Reges were defensive standouts.

The White team lost its opener 39-8 to Kittanning. Shane Tooney scored on a 22-yard run for the Golden Tornado.
