Tyler Wilkinson had a goal and assist as the Butler Middle School hockey team defeated Moon, 4-1, recently.

Connor Bachman, Taite Dusheck and Jerome Oliver also scored for Butler (9-4). Winning goaltender Connor Strobel made 14 saves.

Basketball

Ethan Morton sank a 3-pointer with four seconds remaining to give the Butler seventh grade White a 45-44 win over Fox Chapel.

Morton scored 22 points while Anthony Malloy had eight, Mason Montag six and Dylan Fediaczko five. Butler is 13-4 on the year.
